Research and knowledge form the basis of responsible action. Scientists from around the world agree that the cumulative ecological impacts of offshore wind energy are poorly understood and highly uncertain. RODA recognizes research is essential to understand the impacts of offshore development on fisheries and the environment. We have asked our members, and the fishing industry at large, to identify research priorities, using their local ecological knowledge, to help us better understand the impacts of offshore wind on fisheries.
