Between the Executive Order signed in 2020, a revived AQUAA Act in Congress, and multiple proposed projects, large-scale U.S. aquaculture is closer than ever before. It’s imperative to represent commercial fishing interests now–as policies and processes are being created and tested–in order to ensure that they are inclusive, fully informed by science, and planned to reduce spatial or environmental conflicts
